Lead the development of Native Discovery's Allyship pillar by designing and implementing public engagement programmes, cultivating strategic partnerships, and supporting Orang Asli communities through meaningful allyship initiatives. The role combines strategic planning, programme development, stakeholder engagement, and on-the-ground community collaboration.
• Lead the development of the Allyship workstream for Native Allies
• Engage institutional partners and nurture an allyship network
• Build relationships with Orang Asli partners and support community initiatives
• Design and implement allyship initiatives aligned with organisational goals
• Manage and grow public engagement programmes
• Cultivate a community of practice for allyship in Malaysian society
Requirements
• 3–5 years experience in leadership development, community engagement, sustainability, education, or related fields
• Experience working with local communities on community development or social projects
• Good understanding of value-based leadership
• Diploma or Degree from a recognised institution
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Working proficiency in spoken and written Malay
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to navigate conflict and manage differing perspectives
• Thoughtful, kind, and good-humoured personality
• Own transportation and willingness to travel independently
