Impakrintas Launches As Malaysia’s First Social Exchange For Regulated Social Impact Fundraising

Impakrintas has launched as Malaysia’s first Social Exchange registered with the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC). Operated by LC Wakaf Digital, the platform enables eligible non-profit organizations (NPOs) to raise funds in a regulated environment designed to improve transparency, donor confidence, and accountability in social impact fundraising.

The initiative follows the Securities Commission Malaysia’s introduction of guidelines on Social Exchange platforms aimed at expanding the capital market’s role in supporting the third sector. Through Impakrintas, NPOs can present verified projects while donors gain clearer access to information about where their contributions go.

By providing a regulated ecosystem with clearer project information and better transparency, Impakrintas aims to rebuild public trust in charitable giving and help meaningful social projects gain sustainable support.
