Fugee Org & Doctors on Ground Launch Refugee Healthcare Access In KL

On March 22, 2025, Fugee Org and Doctors on Ground held a Medical Outreach Day at Fugee School, Kuala Lumpur, to provide essential healthcare services to the refugee community. The collaboration offered health screenings, medical consultations, and prescription support to 56 refugees, addressing common barriers such as distance, cost, and lack of access. This event also introduced the Refugee Medical Insurance (REMEDI), supported by UNHCR, aimed at offering sustainable medical care. With plans to host similar events every academic term, Fugee Org continues its holistic approach to education and community well-being.
