Celebrate Kuih-Muih With Alam Kreatif Poem Writing Contest 2024

Our annual Alam Kreatif Poem Writing Contest is back for the 5th year running! Stand a chance to win a cash prize of RM250 and have your poem showcased on our wall in a public display!

With Merdeka celebrations and Malaysia Day just around the corner, what could be more inspiring than creating a poem to ignite your patriotic spirit? This year’s special theme is “Kuih-Muih”.

Two winners (One from each age category) will receive a cash prize, a picture of their poem’s display and an official certificate of achievement mailed to their home address.

Most importantly, the winning poems will be commemorated next to our Malaysian themed mural by local artist, Azizan Said on the outer walls of Pusat Kreatif Kanak-Kanak Tuanku Bainun in Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Kuala Lumpur.

🇲🇾 CATEGORIES
- Children: 7 to 12 years old
- Teenager: 13 to 17 years old
Open to all Malaysian children

🇲🇾 INSTRUCTIONS
1. Write a 4-line poem themed around “Kuih-Muih”.
- No word limit but poems are limited to 𝟒 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲.
- Poems that have more or less than 4 lines will automatically be disqualified.
- Tip: Please avoid any content relating to politics or any topics that discriminate against any groups or person as this contest focuses on the greatness of Malaysia as a country.
2. Review your draft and make sure there are no typos.
3. Submit your poem via this google link:

- Result announcement: 24th September 2024
