This role develops and delivers training programmes, engages communities and stakeholders, and supports efforts to strengthen public and private sector capacity to prevent and respond to gender-based violence.
Provides feedback to drafted capacity development plans, and together with the team, implements
the safe community action plan for the country;
Engages with partners in each community or sector, including following up with public or private
decision makers, local allies and community leaders to commit to eliminating gender-based
violence;
Actively participates in outreach activities together with the capacity building team, with a view to
sustainability and meaningful impact for social change.
Involves in the production and dissemination of community-tailored awareness materials
Requirements
Support the planning and implementation of safe community initiatives and capacity-building programmes.
Engage community partners, NGOs, government agencies, corporate stakeholders, and local leaders to advance efforts to eliminate gender-based violence.
Conduct community outreach and develop awareness materials tailored to different audiences.
Assist in delivering economic empowerment programmes and collaborate with partners to maximise impact.
Plan and implement capacity-building activities for girls' empowerment and male allies initiatives.
Build and maintain networks of advocates and partners to promote gender equality and women's empowerment.
Deliver training programmes for government and non-government stakeholders, including frontline responders.
Support the implementation of human rights standards through collaborative initiatives.
Contribute to the development of training modules, programme documentation, budgets, and periodic reports.
Perform other duties that support the organisation's mission.
