The Young Environmental Journalist Competition (YEJC) 3.0 has been launched once again, offering Malaysian youth the chance to highlight environmental issues through creative reporting.
Organised by the Malaysia Forest Fund (MFF) in collaboration with Youth Environment Living Labs (YELL) and Green Growth Asia Foundation (GGAF), this year’s competition carries the theme “Saving Nature, Saving Our Food and Water.” The theme underscores the importance of protecting forests and ecosystems to secure food, clean water, and a sustainable future.
Participants are invited to submit their entries by recording a reporting-style video and uploading it on Instagram, tagging @malaysiaforestfund, @marikitayell and @greengrowthasiafoundation as collaborators.
The competition is open to children and young adults, with prizes worth up to RM3,000 to be won.
The contest period runs from 25 August to 19 October 2025, and registration is available via the official link
