Bulan was found pregnant under a bridge...
Our social workers noticed her with her belly about to pop under a bridge near Pasar Seni. It was no environment for a mother to give birth and it was taking a toll on her sanity. We got her to give birth in a hospital and Bulan's baby girl came out healthy... but now they needed a home to raise this child right.
Their family in Indonesia want them home and take care of them, but they currently owe local customs over RM3,000 in compound.
We are in the works of getting this fine cleared and processed urgently over the next two weeks, and then fly them back to their family in Medan, but prior to the flight, there is an ailment that needs to be taken care of.
We need to urgently approve her medical status, get their tickets, and cover the fine; all within 2 weeks!
The mother has developed neurotic symptoms from being homeless for so long, and needs to be deemed fit to fly. Hence, medical examinations and treatments need to be done urgently and will be exorbitantly costly given their means that barely gets them through the day with decent sustenance and shelter.
We just have to get them through the gateway of our borders, to let this baby girl start her life in what she can call home. WE ARE SO CLOSE!!!
On this month of benevolence, hope and understanding, we can only hope that some would understand the significance of benevolence, where we can achieve this miracle of a healthy future ahead of this baby.
