A full-time, on-site position supporting classroom teaching and school programs. The role is part of a one-year training programme with the potential for progression to a Teacher role upon successful completion.
Responsibilities
Plan and prepare lessons according to school practices
Deliver lessons as directed or planned
Mark materials and provide student feedback
Demonstrate classroom leadership
Follow standard operating classroom procedures
Attend teacher trainings
Actively participate in school activities
Prepare weekly lesson plans in advance
Submit advance plans for any planned leave
Engage with parents and the community
Requirements
Minimum 18 years old (fresh grads and school leavers encouraged)
Passionate about education and working with children
Positive life attitude
Support child-centered and fun-based learning
Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading)
Pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills
Responsible, committed, and accountable
Willing to learn and invest time
Familiar with Google Suite; internet savvy
Hardworking and disciplined
Comfortable in a multicultural environment, especially with refugees
