Description
A hands-on educator passionate about nurturing innovation and critical thinking among students through STEAM disciplines. You will inspire youth to solve real-world problems using technology and creativity, while contributing to a growing community of changemakers.
Responsibilities
Nurture innovative and creative thinking skills among students.
Build relationships, teach, motivate, and inspire students to think critically.
Guide students in building technological solutions to real-world problems.
Engage local stakeholders and organise events under Maker Programmes.
Foster community engagement in education initiatives.
Requirements
Strong belief in education equity.
Curious, lifelong learner with a critical worldview.
Experience working with children/teens in informal or project-based learning.
Comfortable across STEAM disciplines.
Coding knowledge is a plus (not mandatory).
Experience with maker tools, design thinking, or creative tech is valued.
Must work on-site at the Penang office.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu.
Technical degree (engineering/computer science) preferred.
Educational experience is an advantage.
