Implement and manage existing peatland projects at site level, including studies, awareness programmes, networking, reporting, and community development activities.
Responsibilities
Implement and manage a range of existing projects at site level
Undertake project activities such as studies, awareness programmes, networking and information exchange
Prepare technical and management reports
Communicate and work with partner agencies at local level (local government, private sector, CSOs, indigenous and local community groups)
Plan and execute community development and empowerment events/programmes
Work with partner agencies in Malaysia and overseas
Provide input for development of new projects and activities
Contribute to other elements of the Peatland Programme as appropriate
Requirements
Degree in Environmental or Natural Resource Management
Fluent in English and Malay with good writing skills
Experience with computer and basic software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
