This role requires a passionate storyteller who can captivate an audience through written and oral communication. The role focuses on translating technical science into public-friendly content to increase awareness and understanding.
Responsibilities
Understand scientific content and translate it for mass public consumption.
Assist Marcoms in productizing CRMY’s work and results for easier donor understanding.
Serve as front-liners to deliver talks, tours, and speeches (virtual & in-person) for Marcoms and CRMY’s Crowd-Funding Committee programs.
Drive community interest and awareness to increase donor acquisitions and engagements through advocacy activities.
Co-develop and co-manage a Patient Volunteer Program with Marcoms for advocacy and patients-to-public speaking.
Requirements
Science educational background, especially in pharmaceutical, research, medical, or cancer fields.
Working experience in research and science community communication.
Passion for communicating with the public; comfortable with content creation and public presentations.
Experience developing and managing a Patient Volunteer Program is welcome.
