This internship supports digital donor recruitment and digital communication activities under UNHCR Malaysia’s Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) programme. The role contributes to expanding UNHCR’s supporter base by enhancing digital engagement, content optimization, and fundraising performance across web, email, and social media platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in reviewing, digitizing, scheduling and adapting web content from local and global UNHCR perspectives for email, websites, mobile and social media platforms (organic and paid).
- Support analysis of user journeys, mobile and social media insights to optimize engagement and conversion performance.
- Assist in producing, consolidating and coordinating digital assets between UNHCR offices and external parties to ensure efficient campaign execution.
- Support agencies in determining promotional tactics to increase web traffic, engagement and conversions.
Requirements
- Recent graduate (completed studies within two years) or current undergraduate/graduate student from an accredited university.
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Familiar with digital and social media management.
- Experience in photo/video editing using Canva, CapCut or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Fluent in English and Malay.
