Responsibilities
Responsible for the overall success of Programme(s) from planning, designing and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action plan any Programs/Grants/Initiatives.
Collaborate closely with the Development Manager and Development Division to translate strategic "Pillar Roadmaps" and ecosystem research into actionable programme execution plans, ensuring alignment with long-term industry goals.
Act as first layer document oversight to ensure all programme documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational standards.
Prepare, draft, and present project papers, include Programme Term of Reference and Board papers to seek necessary approvals and provide updates to high-level stakeholders.
Manage and deal with queries, responses and/or complaints which includes the provision of explanations (if required) and updating the Management of such matters.
Manage and report on Programme budgets and deliverables as required.
Encourage engagement with communities which require strategic support to scale up.
Develop new ways, projects or initiatives in line with the Organisation's vision, mission and strategic priorities to deliver the best possible outcomes.
Work with other internal departments and colleagues to plan, execute, measure and report on Programme(s) where necessary and adhere to relevant processes as required.
Attend to necessary tasks in hand which may encompass any other projects, initiatives and activities undertaken by the division aligned to overall mandate and strategic plans of the Organisation.
Ensure delivery of Programme(s) is of high quality and meets agreed indicators of success.
Attending to any other ad-hoc or non-ad-hoc works designated to you by the Head of Department and/or GCEO of the Organisation.
Requirements
Degree in related field and/or professional qualification.
Demonstrated experience in programme and/or grants management, project management, sector engagement, and managing stakeholders.
Proven experience in preparing high-level documentation, including Project Papers and Board Papers, for executive review.
Experience in conducting research and utilizing data analysis to interpret programme metrics and outcomes.
Strong command of written and verbal communication (BM and English), with specific proficiency in technical writing and drafting formal reports.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to work within a team and perform in cross-functional team approaches.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise work, meet deadlines and produce quality results in a timely manner with attention to detail.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategic insights.
