Operations Assistant (KL HQ)

We aim to fill this position with a dynamic contributor to our operations. This includes a variety of tasks, **primarily supporting beneficiaries of the society with welfare assistance**. This individual will collaborate closely with all team members within the organization, as well as dedicated and passionate volunteers. The goal is to ensure that operational strategies are effectively and efficiently translated into action, ultimately leading to operational excellence.

Beneficiaries

• Conduct physical interviews and register beneficiaries
• Conduct house assessments for potential beneficiaries
• Create KSK beneficiaries card
• Attend to beneficiaries' requests during food distribution
• Update beneficiaries information into centralized database
• Carry out social services with beneficiaries (this includes I/C replacement, medical assistance, shelter placement, job placement and other social services)
• Research available social services and welfare aid support in the community
• Liaise with beneficiaries, charity partners and Commissioner of Oath for client case

Distribution

• Conduct introduction and briefing for new volunteers (according to SOP)
• Guide volunteers to conduct beneficiary interviews (according to SOP)
• Conduct food distribution (this includes new beneficiaries registration, and to converse with beneficiaries for social welfare purposes)
• Night street distribution (participate and/or manage volunteers to conduct the food distribution)
• Understand and familiarize with the kitchen and medical service operation
• Assist to load and unload items (e.g. dry food, cooked food, clothes donation)
