Responsibilities
Be a mentor to youth and participate as a positive role model to build and nurture character in underprivileged youth
Well versed with IGCSE ICT education syllabus
Perform pastoral duties including student support, counselling students with academic development and providing student encouragement
Participate in education camps and workshops conducted to build character
Manage students’ behavior and apply appropriate and effective behavior measures
Plan, prepare and deliver interactive lesson plans to all students effectively (including online classes as needed)
Participate in the development, administration, and marking of exam papers and other assessments
Monitor, evaluate, record and report on the academic progress, development, and behavior of one’s students and creating reports to inform parents about their progress.
Participate actively in school activities and program which includes Dignity events
Attend professional development courses and workshops organized by Dignity
Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator
Requirements
Education/Skills Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field
Teaching certifications and experience in teaching or leadership will be advantageous
Has some experience in program development, curriculum writing and research skills
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to create productive and healthy relationships
Ability to collaborate and work with teams
Ability to work independently
Technical Competency Requirements:
Knowledge and familiarity in usage of Google Classroom is required
Computer competency, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
Work is normally performed in a typical school/office environment
Travel will be required when participating in youth workshops or camps outstation
Must be comfortable to participate in outdoor activities as required by education programs
