Responsibilities
• Assist in daily field operations including sea turtle monitoring, nest management, and data collection.
• Support volunteer programs: briefing, supervision, activity coordination, and safety monitoring.
• Conduct public engagement sessions such as talks, guided tours, outreach activities, and awareness campaigns.
• Perform biological data entry, basic analysis, and report preparation.
• Assist with hatchery operations, nest excavation, and hatchling release according to guidelines.
• Maintain research equipment, field gears, and workspaces in proper condition.
Requirements
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology, Environmental Science, Biodiversity, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of marine ecosystems, conservation principles, and sea turtle biology (training provided).
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors, including at night, in remote field conditions.
• Good communication skills, especially for interacting with volunteers, tourists, and community members.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays depending on nesting activity.
• Passion for marine conservation and environmental education.
