We are seeking a dedicated Shelter House Guardian to manage the day-to-day operations of our shelter house and ensure the safety and well-being of all residents. Candidate will be equipped with relevant trainings and on the job mentoring.
Responsibilities
-Managing the daily needs of residents and the operation of the shelter homes
-Ensuring implementation and adherence to house’s rules & regulations
-Managing residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual growth
-Managing residents’ interaction, fostering cohesion, and building solidarity
-Attending regular training and enhancing competencies
-Commitment and dedication to journeying with marginalised children and youth
Requirements
- Having a valid driving license in Malaysia is required
- Experience working in a social service or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and at least one other language commonly spoken by marginalized people groups in Malaysia
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
