Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily needs of residents and the operation of the shelter homes
- Ensuring implementation and adherence to house’s rules & regulations
- Managing residents’ physical, emotional and spiritual growth
- Managing residents’ interaction, fostering cohesion, and building solidarity
- Attending regular training and enhancing competencies
- Commitment and dedication to journeying with marginalised children and youth
Requirements
- Experience working in a social service or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in English and at least one other language commonly spoken by marginalized people groups in Malaysia
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
