This role is responsible to develop strategy, identifying specific impactful Community Development & Disaster Relief programmes and grant partners as well as managing the strategic development and implementation of programmes contents to ensure the initiatives are able to uplift and open up avenues and opportunities for people’s social advancement and personal progression in alignment with Yayasan Hasanah’s (YH) corporate goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Development of and performance accountability for goals and strategy for impact areas specializing in Community
Development, in collaboration with Strategy team and other impact area leads.
Development of and performance accountability for innovative or new approaches and solutions.
Communication and socialization of innovative or new approaches and solutions with external partners, grantee support and MLE teams. Continuously keep well informed of current socio- economic issues and national agendas.
Sourcing potential grant partners through strong network and building relationships with related parties. Possess capabilities to evaluate and select credible grant partners.
Setting evaluation/ selection criteria for grantees including grant KPIs.
Development of advocacy strategy for impact area towards nation building through collaboration with strategy team.
Development of advocacy strategy for impact area towards nation building through collaboration with strategy team.
Selective trouble-shooting for grant partners, in collaboration with Grant support team. Provide innovative ideas, guidance and solutions to support team.
Developing learnings for impact area, in collaboration with MLE team. Continuously assess and monitor the development, megatrends and national agenda related to the impact areas.
Collaborate, working closely and interchangeably amongst other impact area Leads from time to time in ensuring YH’s corporate objectives are met.
Requirements
Candidate should possess a bachelor’s (minimum of a Second-Class Upper Honors) or master’s Degree holder in social work or a similar field from reputable universities
Minimum 15 years of working experience in the related field, with at least 5 years’ experience in a leadership capacity
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization, stakeholders and external parties/grant partners
Strong problem-solving and creative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation
