The University of Wyoming, in collaboration with Danau Girang Field Centre, is offering a fully funded 14-day field course opportunity for one local Sabahan student from May 22 to June 5, 2026, in Kinabatangan, Sabah.
Participants will gain hands-on experience in wildlife conservation, tropical forest restoration, biodiversity research, and community engagement. Activities include wildlife spotting, native tree planting, measuring forest recovery, and visits to conservation sites such as Gomantong Caves and the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre (BSBCC).
All costs including food, accommodation, transport, conservation fees, and field trip expenses will be covered.
Interested applicants are required to submit a Letter of Motivation and CV before May 10, 2026.
