Role Purpose
Responsible for maintaining the financial integrity and efficiency of finance operations to ensure the financial sustainability of the organisation.
Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities
Deliver accurate and relevant financial reports to key stakeholders in a timely manner to maintain an integrous and trusting relationships with the key stakeholders.
Manage the annual budget planning and mid-year budget review
Manage the quarterly cost performance review and forecasting to help functional leads to make informed financial decision in maintaining the financial health of the organisation
Manage cash flow management system that projects cash requirements to assist management decision making.
Manage the annual financial audit, statutory and tax exemption submissions to ensure that TFM Foundation meets the necessary compliance requirements.
Develop and maintain TFM Foundation’s finance policies and procedures to ensure that there is a strong financial control and governance system in place and in compliance with Approved Accounting Standards and the Laws of Malaysia.
Support efforts to engage fundraising stakeholders to ensure timely fund disbursement from corporate and individual donors.
Support with office related operational matters to create a conducive work environment for employees.

Technical/ Functional competencies:
Strong grasp of accounting knowledge and Malaysia accounting standard
Ability to construct and interpret full set of financial statements without guidance
Logical and methodical thinking required to design and improve financial processes
Strong numerical and analytical skills required for financial analysis
Attention to detail
Familiarity with SQL Accounting system or other accounting systems.

Experiences & qualification
At least 5 years of experience in accounting field, consultancy background would be an added advantage
Experience managing a team of 3 and above
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
Excellent proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
