The Director, Capacity and Ecosystem Development oversees all departments within the division, including Business Development, Industry Development, Internationalisation, Stakeholder Management, and Capacity Development. The role focuses on managing development expenditure, driving income generation, monitoring entrepreneurship programmes, and ensuring strategic alignment with organisational and ministerial KPIs.
Responsibilities
• Oversee Business Development, Industry Development, Internationalisation, Stakeholder Management, and Capacity Development
• Act as gatekeeper for Development Expenditure planning, execution, and performance
• Manage income generation initiatives and stakeholder partnerships
• Monitor progress of all INSKEN programmes and entrepreneurship activities
• Manage Development and Non-Development Expenditure within approved budgets
• Lead departments through Senior Managers and coordinators
• Track KPIs at internal and ministerial levels
• Ensure timely internal and external reporting, including Board of Trustees reports
• Represent INSKEN in meetings, workshops, and official engagements
• Conduct proposal analysis as assigned
• Chair or co-chair internal committees
• Oversee programme execution, monitoring, and reporting
• Liaise with nationwide strategic partners
• Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by management or Board of Trustees
Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, Accounting, or equivalent
• More than 15 years of relevant working experience
• Strong management and business development experience
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strategic and critical thinking ability
• Action-oriented, independent, and self-motivated
