(We’re open to writers in either English or BM, though you will need to have working proficiency in both.)
Creador Foundation is searching for a Researcher & Writer to join our team working on Schola (schola.org.my), our free digital platform transforming career guidance for Malaysian students, particularly those from lower-income households. Schola equips students with vital information to navigate their school-to-career transition, and we need someone who can help make this information accessible and engaging.

Remuneration: RM4,000-RM6,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Your Responsibilities:
Research and Content Development
- Conduct comprehensive research based on content needs, which could include, among others, industry-specific topics, education, and career pathways.
- Write website content, taking responsibility for the entire writing process (research, outlining, interviews, drafting, and proofreading), and ensuring content is clear and engaging.
- Monitor daily news, highlight relevant stories to content and social media teams, and develop angles for brand-related content.
- Source and conduct interviews with industry experts and professionals to gather insights.
- Transform complex information into clear, accessible content that aligns with the Schola brand and resonates with Malaysian students.
- Create engaging copy for WhatsApp updates to our audience.

- Has exceptional research skills with the ability to find, verify, and synthesise information from various sources.
- Demonstrates strong writing and editing abilities, with a talent for making complex topics accessible to students.
- Shows strong news sense and ability to identify relevant stories and angles.
- Is adaptable, has great time management skills, and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Is a great team player and thrives on collaborationUnderstands the Malaysian context well and is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
