Responsible for developing and executing strategies to engage, grow, and retain the EPIC Community—urban and rural volunteers including Orang Asli. The role focuses on designing growth pathways, managing community engagement, tracking insights and metrics, and overseeing community events to strengthen volunteer experience and alignment with EPIC's mission.
Responsibilities
Design growth pathways and volunteer service structures.
Manage community database, insights, and engagement metrics.
Drive recruitment and facilitate volunteer engagement.
Support digital community platforms, including Sedunia.
Collaborate across internal teams.
Advocate for community needs and strategic input.
Organise and market community events.
Conduct post-event analysis and feedback.
Requirements
Proven experience in community building/management.
Leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Data-driven mindset; comfort with analytics.
Event management experience.
Collaborative mindset and cross-team coordination.
Tech-savvy; experience with community platforms preferred.
Creative problem-solving and innovation.
Multilingual: English & Malay required; additional languages an advantage.
Preferred: experience with growth pathway frameworks, CRM or volunteer tools, and nonprofit settings.
