As a Community Development Executive, you’ll work alongside residents, community leaders and partners to deliver programmes that empower women, strengthen communities and improve wellbeing across Malaysia.
Responsibilities
1. Programme Coordination & Implementation
Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering community development and entrepreneurship programmes.
Coordinate training sessions, coaching workshops, and community outreach activities.
Prepare project documentation, beneficiary records, reports, and other administrative materials.
2. Community Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, beneficiaries, trainers, facilitators, and partner organisations.
Coordinate with local stakeholders to identify and engage programme participants.
Communicate regularly with beneficiaries to monitor progress, gather feedback, and provide support throughout programme implementation.
3. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date beneficiary and project records.
Support field monitoring, data collection, and impact reporting.
Prepare regular project updates and reports for the Community Development Manager.
4. Team & Operational Support
Work closely with team members to achieve programme objectives and timelines.
Support field visits, logistics planning, and on-site programme coordination.
Represent Women of Will professionally while upholding the organisation's mission, values, and standards in all engagements.
Requirements
Essential
Malaysian citizen aged 21 years and above.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, or a related discipline is an advantage.
Excellent command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.
Possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other basic digital tools.
Preferred
Experience working or volunteering with NGOs, social enterprises, or community-based organisations.
Executive: Minimum one (1) year of relevant working experience.
Senior Executive: Minimum two (2) years of relevant working experience.
Familiarity with grassroots organisations and local communities within the Klang Valley.
