Lead the Donor Engagement and Marketing Communication departments to drive revenue growth through donor relationships, corporate partnerships, and strategic marketing initiatives supporting the organization’s mission.
Responsibilities
Expand and grow income from individual and mid-level donors through monthly, yearly, and one-time donations.
Strategize and execute donor acquisition and retention with the Board of Trustees.
Lead and support department staff to ensure income growth, continuity, and succession planning.
Develop and implement individual donor and corporate sponsor engagement strategies.
Build relationships with key stakeholders, HNWIs, and corporate partners to maximize contributions.
Maintain donor retention rates within KPIs via effective retention programs.
Oversee donor recruitment, management, and compliance with PDPA and ethical practices.
Ensure seamless donor experiences across recruitment, retention, upgrades, and communication.
Identify and secure grants, sponsorships, and philanthropic funding sources.
Oversee brand strategy, visibility, and multi-channel engagement.
Manage media, press relationships, and stakeholder communications.
Develop impactful content for print, digital platforms, and campaigns.
Plan and execute fundraising events, donor appreciation programs, and outreach activities.
Develop innovative fundraising campaigns and align events with organizational goals.
Identify and execute revenue growth opportunities with the fundraising team.
Drive financial growth via business development and revenue diversification.
Work with Finance on income reporting, consolidation, and reconciliation.
Ensure timely appreciation correspondence for all donations.
Implement new fundraising methodologies, donor database strategies, and CRM solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends in fundraising and donor management.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 15 years’ experience in sales, business development, fundraising, or similar; at least 5 years in senior leadership.
Proven track record in sales, business development, donor engagement, or sponsorship management.
Experience in nonprofit, charity, or social impact sector preferred.
Strong corporate network and HNWI relationships.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to develop and execute innovative revenue strategies.
Strong communication skills with experience in branding, marketing, and PR.
