Associate - Special Programs Development (Fellowship)
Description
The Associate will support the research, conception, and development of new Fellowship programs at PEMIMPIN. This includes conducting research on the education landscape, identifying gaps and trends, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop high-impact programs for school leaders and teachers. The position requires working in Kuala Lumpur at least three days per week and reporting to the Director of Fellowships.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on the education landscape to identify gaps, trends, and program opportunities.
Develop concept notes and proposals for new Fellowship programs.
Analyze impact data from existing programs for improvements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to refine program strategies.
Develop research briefs and program proposals.
Assist with stakeholder engagement, meetings, and coordination.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in education or social work.
Proven experience in developing education programs (e.g., co-curricular, volunteer, or student-led initiatives).
Experience in education-related research and identifying gaps is desirable.
Experience as an educator, tutor, mentor, or facilitator is an advantage.
Strong communication skills in both Bahasa Melayu and English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage deadlines.
