Reef Check Malaysia is hiring a full-time Assistant Programme Manager based in Pengerang, South Johor. This role supports marine conservation activities, community engagement, and sustainable livelihood development.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Programme Managers in executing field-based activities aligned with conservation goals and project reporting
Mobilise local communities for active participation in marine ecosystem conservation and co-management efforts.
Conduct regular water quality and seafood monitoring, sharing results with relevant stakeholders.
Facilitate educational activities to raise awareness on the importance of mangrove and seagrass ecosystem.
Deliver training and support for alternative livelihoods, particularly in ecotourism, and assist in pilot conservation projects.
Provide updates for social media, manage cash accounts, support audits, and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
