Headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, PPB Group Berhad (“PPB”) is an investment holding and property investment company with operations in China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and Singapore. PPB’s principal businesses are divided into 6 segments; Grains and Agribusiness, Consumer Products, Film Exhibition and Distribution, Environmental Engineering and Utilities, Properties, Investments and Other Operations. 

The Group takes a holistic sustainability approach to harmonise economic performance with their impact on the environment and on society following four sustainability pillars which are Environmental Impact, Working Environment, Marketplace Engagement, and Community Investment.

PPB reported a net profit of RM1.50 billion during FY2021.

In FY2021, the Group had a dividend payout of RM0.49 billion. 

The total cash contributions made by PPB was approximately RM7 million through community investments, in which more than RM6 million was toward COVID-19 relief efforts.

Total in-kind contributions made by the Group has been accounted for in the reported RM7 million of community investment. 

No employee volunteer hours were not detailed in the annual and sustainability report of PPB Group Berhad.

This contribution was a pledge made by PPB to donate RM10 for each social media posting. The campaign received a total of 15,460 participants hence the amount raised were given to four NGOs, Befrienders, UM Cares, Women’s Aid Organisation and the Mental Illness Awareness and Support Association (“MIASA”).
17Food donation in PenangN/A200 sets of basic food and essential items worth RM80 per packN/A200 families The Property division at PPB Group partnered with Mutiara Food Bank in Penang to distribute basic food and essential items worth RM80 per pack to 200 vulnerable families in Georgetown.
