9Future Skills For All (FS4A)N/AEducational programmeN/AUnderserved studentsFuture Skills For All (FS4A) is a multi-stakeholder driven initiative, an on-going collaboration with MDEC, UNICEF and ARUS Academy, supported by the Ministry of Education, to strengthen inclusivity and equity in education by establishing a digital learning environment that focuses on making future skills learning accessible for the underserved. Some initiatives include #BolehCode where activities held include state level and national level competitions, short coding lessons on TikTok@gurufutureskills, school holiday programmes, workshops for teachers and certification programmes endorsed by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Malaysia. Moreover, another initiative enabled differently-abled students to learn coding by providing them micro:bit sets and coding training for their teachers. This training also equips the teachers to teach the digital modules to deaf students to prepare them for the future workforce. There were 34,582 enrolments to this programme and counting.
10Safe Internet programmeN/AEducational materialN/A91,000 engagedA continuous commitment to empower Malaysians with skills to be more resilient and responsible online citizens through the Yellow Heart Safe Internet portal, a onestop repository of educational material to equip Malaysians with the right tools and knowledge to use the internet safely. 91,000 people were engaged in this initiative.
11Advocating for a safer internetN/ASeries of workshops and dedicated virtual hotlinesN/A950 participants and other beneficiariesIn collaboration with like-minded partners, Digi participated in several engagement platforms comprising online webinars and panel session to drive greater advocacy and awareness on child online safety. Some initiatives included 5 regional level safe internet workshops, collaboration with Ai Talent on a series of workshops discussing safe internet with children where more than 100 short awareness videos were created by the children, a series of virtual workshops with experts organised by UNICEF and R.AGE on discuss about healthy relationships, including cyber-grooming benefited over 950 participants and lastly, a dedicated virtual hotlines to help volunteers and counsellors in providing emotional support and counselling services during Covid-19.
