Responsibilities
Develop and implement long-term "Pillar Roadmaps" to increase the GDP contribution and sustainability of all 10 creative sectors.
Identify systemic gaps within the creative ecosystem and design targeted programs to address them.
Lead the design of developmental programs, including incubation hubs, export-readiness grants, and creative accelerators.
Design and lead primary and secondary data collection efforts (Market Mapping) to map the current state, size, and health of the 10 creative pillars.
Develop and deploy nationwide surveys and conduct "Ground-Zero" qualitative research/FGDs to capture real-time data on entrepreneur challenges, revenue trends, and workforce gaps.
Gather global and regional data to benchmark Malaysia’s creative sectors against international standards
Establish a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) framework to track the progress of beneficiaries and utilize gathered data to identify specific "intervention points" for high ROI.
Draft professional proposals, detailed management reports, and formal Board Papers to secure project approvals and funding.
Produce periodic data-driven reports summarizing trends, risks, and opportunities within each of the 10 pillars for Management.
Provide data-backed evidence for submissions to government bodies to support policy advocacy and funding renewals.
Act as the primary point of contact for industry associations and guilds to gather industry-specific intelligence and represent the organization in national industry forums.
Attending to any other ad-hoc or non-ad-hoc works designated to you by the Head of Department and/or GCEO of the Organisation.
Requirements
Degree in related field and/or professional qualification.
Demonstrated experience designing data collection frameworks and managing multi-stakeholder projects.
Proven experience in preparing high-level documentation, including Project Papers and Board Papers, for executive review.
Experience in conducting research and utilizing data analysis to interpret programme metrics and outcomes.
Strong command of written and verbal communication (BM and English), with specific proficiency in technical writing and drafting formal reports.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
Ability to work within a team and perform in cross-functional team approaches.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise work, meet deadlines and produce quality results in a timely manner with attention to detail.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategic insights.
