Science Advocacy Executive
Description
This role requires a passionate storyteller who can captivate an audience through written and oral communication. The role focuses on translating technical science into public-friendly content to increase awareness and understanding.
Responsibilities
- Understand scientific content and translate it for mass public consumption.
- Assist Marcoms in productizing CRMY’s work and results for easier donor understanding.
- Serve as front-liners to deliver talks, tours, and speeches (virtual & in-person) for Marcoms and CRMY’s Crowd-Funding Committee programs.
- Drive community interest and awareness to increase donor acquisitions and engagements through advocacy activities.
- Co-develop and co-manage a Patient Volunteer Program with Marcoms for advocacy and patients-to-public speaking.
Requirements
- Science educational background, especially in pharmaceutical, research, medical, or cancer fields.
- Working experience in research and science community communication.
- Passion for communicating with the public; comfortable with content creation and public presentations.
- Experience developing and managing a Patient Volunteer Program is welcome.
