Kuala Lumpur — Pepper Lim has set a new Malaysian record for the ‘Longest Distance Ride on an EV Motorcycle in a Week,’ riding 2,569 km from Chiang Mai, Thailand, to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, between 24 and 30 May 2025. Partnering with the Lions Clubs of Malaysia and Thailand, his journey also raised awareness and charity for children battling cancer. Riding the eBixon CPX Pro, Lim charged his bike three times a day, covering over 300 km daily despite challenges such as sourcing charging points and enduring long hours in harsh weather. His feat highlights the potential of electric motorcycles, the need for improved charging infrastructure in Southeast Asia, and the role of EVs in promoting sustainability.
