YTL Power International Berhad recorded RM24.3 million in community investments in FY2024, representing 0.71% of its profit-to-giving ratio. The majority of contributions were directed towards educational initiatives, which accounted for 53.3% of total giving, followed by environmental initiatives at 30%. Educational efforts were largely driven by programmes such as the Pemimpin GSL Leadership Programme, KelasKita and LEAPS Academy.
In terms of beneficiary focus, most contributions targeted youth beneficiaries (44.8%), followed by the community and environmental beneficiaries, each accounting for 20.7%. Notably, the Pemimpin GSL Leadership Programme benefited over 15,000 school leaders across 8,791 schools in Malaysia. However, YTL Power International Berhad did not disclose employee volunteer hours for FY2024.
