During FY2024, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) disbursed RM63.78 million in community investments, representing 1.36% of its cash-to-profit giving ratio, which was lower than the level recorded in the previous financial year. The allocation of funds was primarily directed towards environmental initiatives (31.6%), followed by education (26.3%) and community development (21.1%).
Key initiatives included the My Brighter Green programme, Home for the Needy and Village Street. In terms of beneficiary focus, the largest share of TNB’s contributions targeted youth beneficiaries (36.8%), followed by the community at large (26.3%) and environmental causes (21.1%). However, TNB did not disclose the total number of employee volunteer hours for FY2024.
