AMMB Holdings Berhad reported community investments of RM901,584 in FY2024, representing a 0.05% profit-to-giving ratio, which was higher than the previous financial year. A significant share of contributions was allocated to education and welfare initiatives, each accounting for 35.3%, followed by environmental initiatives at 23.5%.
Notable initiatives included the women’s economic empowerment programmes such as Ibupreneur, as well as festive welfare initiatives. AMMB’s community investments impacted over 17,000 individuals. In terms of beneficiary focus, 35.3% of contributions targeted youth, followed by the community at large (29.4%) and environmental beneficiaries (11.8%). However, AMMB Holdings Berhad did not disclose any employee volunteer hours in its annual or sustainability reports.
