The Social Resilience Programme on Youth Empowerment, Bimbing Anak Komuniti Temiar (BAKTe), was also implemented, involving Sekolah Menengah Sains Gua Musang, Sekolah Kebangsaan Pos Pulat, and Sekolah Kebangsaan Pos Tohoi. Other activities included a pilot chilli farming program at Pos Pulat, the construction of a temporary jetty for land fishermen, and the donation of freezer chests for their use. Phase 4 of the Small House Repair Programme was also implemented, along with the distribution of clothes and Ramadan food packs. Community-building activities such as gotong-royong efforts and a Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, as well as a football match, were organized to strengthen bonds within the community. This effort, conducted in collaboration with the Department of Environment (DOE), underscored TNB’s dedication to environmental stewardship and community partnership. Moreover, the Grid Division collaborated with the Malaysia Nature Society (MNS) and the Bentong Forestry Department on a tree planting programme in Janda Baik, Pahang, in October 2023, covering three acres of forest land. We also partner with other key stakeholders, such as the Sahabat Alam Sungai Tampik NGO, Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), State Forestry Departments, UiTM Shah Alam, and TNB Research Sdn. Bhd., on initiatives aimed at preserving forests and protecting endangered tree species. |

This amount was primarily allocated towards Education (33.3%), followed by Community Development (25%) and Sponsorship (16.7%). Among the notable initiatives that TNB has continued over the years are the PINTAR School Adoption, Program Ceria ke Sekolah, and Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). The majority of TNB’s contributions were directed towards Youth beneficiaries, accounting for 58.3%, with the Community receiving 25%.
