Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM) is a leading convergence player in Malaysia, serving as a national provider of connectivity and digital technology. With a history spanning 78 years, TM has been pivotal in driving connectivity for Malaysians from all walks of life. TM is strategically navigating towards becoming a Digital Powerhouse by 2030. TM is ready to take the role to transition Malaysia into a Digital Nation, leveraging technology to improve the lives of all Malaysians.

The net profit of Telekom Malaysia increased in FY2023 to RM1.87 billion from RM1.01 billion during the previous financial year.

The year on year net profit growth at Telekom Malaysia is at 84.06%.

The Group declared a dividend payout of RM957.9 million or 25 sen per share during FY2023.

The Group did not specify the total amount of contribution made towards Zakat during FY2023.

Total cash contributions made by SDP during FY2023, was RM38.35 million. This contribution was made through community investment benefiting over 126,345 people.

Total in-kind contributions are not defined due to incomplete data. However, contributions are still accounted for under the RM38.35 million contribution made through community investment.

The total employee volunteer hours reported by Telekom Malaysia in their annual report was 2,888 hours.

Additionally, in 2023, a total of 12,802 participants were involved in TM's various programs and initiatives.

In FY2023, Telekom Malaysia Berhad reported a contribution of RM38.35 million as part of their community investment, benefiting 126,345 people. TM allocated the majority of their giving, 66.7%, towards educational initiatives, followed by sponsorship initiatives at 26.7% and arts & culture at 6.7%. This contribution represents 2.05% of their cash-to-profit giving. The majority of TM’s contributions were directed towards community beneficiaries, accounting for 53.3%, followed by youth at 40%, and disaster victims at 6.7%.
