Pesta Igal Igal

Pesta Igal Igal celebrates Bajau cultural heritage, sustainable development and marine conservation in Semporna, Sabah.

Jointly organised by Sabah Parks, KOPSI, Future Alam Borneo and other stakeholders, the festival showcases traditional lepa boats and boggoh canoes, cultural performances, arts and crafts, marine conservation, freediving demonstrations and Bajau cuisine.

The festival responds to growing pressure on marine life and the rapid decline of unique Bajau cultural heritage.
