Description
We are seeking qualified and committed individuals to join our team for the following positions:
• Program Assistant — Sabah
• Program Assistant — Sarawak
• Data Manager — Kelana Jaya (PJ)
We welcome candidates with relevant experience, strong organisational and communication skills, and a commitment to working with diverse communities and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Data & Field Support: Handle local data collection and data entry.
Logistics & Administration: Provide administrative coordination and handle project logistics in Sabah.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage directly with local communities and relevant stakeholders, supporting field activities while maintaining regular communication with the project team.
Travel & Remote Work: Work remotely from home while remaining available to travel within the region as required for project activities.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, Data Management, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 1 year in project coordination, community outreach, research, or admin (preferably with NGOs or local communities).
Data Manager Specific: Experience in database management, data analysis, and monitoring & evaluation.
Core Skills & Knowledge
Languages: Fluent written and spoken English and Bahasa Melayu (Sabahan/Sarawakian dialects are an advantage).
Domain & Regional Knowledge: Understanding of statelessness in Malaysia and local government/administrative structures.
Tech Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data collection or project management tools is a plus.
Soft Skills: Strong organization, communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
