Global Tipping Points Conference 2026 (GTP 2026) brings this initiative to Asia for the first time. From 12 to 15 October 2026, Sunway University, Malaysia, will host leaders from science, finance, culture and policy for four days of cross-sector plenaries, deep-dive workshops and research sessions.
The conference builds a single cumulative argument rather than a set of independent sessions: each plenary inherits outcomes from the one before it and carries them forward to the next. The programme moves from shared scientific understanding and the human and social conditions for change, to the finance, law and stability needed to make transformation irreversible, and ultimately to concrete action in the region’s own cities and bioregions.
Together, participants will translate cutting-edge science into actionable pathways towards a stable climate and a healthier planet.
