As part of KL Festival 2026, we’re calling for human stories rooted in Kuala Lumpur’s historic core.

Capture the unseen moments of Downtown KL—and be part of the story shaping the city.

📝 How to participate:
- Share your KL story on Instagram — carousel post or Reel
- Include at least 5 photos/videos (for carousels) or a well-paced Reel
- Add a minimum of 50 words of storytelling (in caption or on-screen text)
- Ensure your account is set to public
- Focus on the historic core of Kuala Lumpur — where the city began and continues to evolve
(e.g. Bukit Nanas, Dataran Merdeka, Jalan TAR, Merdeka 118 and surrounding heritage areas)
- Use the hashtags #KLUnseenStory #KLFest
- Follow @human_edition @mythinkcity @klfestivalmy
- Open to Malaysians and non-Malaysians
- Submissions can be in English, Malay, Chinese, or any language
