The net profit of Petronas Gas Berhad increased in FY2024 to RM1.84 billion from RM1.82 billion during the previous financial year.

Petronas Gas Berhad reported a modest year-on-year net profit growth of 0.92%.

The total dividend payout amounted to RM1.4 billion, representing 77.6% of net earnings.

The Group did not specify the total amount of contribution made towards Zakat during FY2024.

Total community investment made by PGB during FY2024, was RM5.72 million based on their Performance data table from Bursa ESG Reporting Platform.

During FY2024, Petronas Gas Berhad contributed RM5.7 million in community investments, representing a 0.31% profit-to-giving ratio. These investments were allocated primarily towards sponsorship activities at 28.6%, followed by education and welfare initiatives, both at 23.8%. Sponsorships included cash contributions to several non-governmental organisations such as Cancer Research Malaysia, Persatuan Veteran Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia, as well as student sponsorships under the Technical Energy Enrichment Programme. These initiatives made a significant impact, largely benefiting the community. However, the total number of employee volunteer hours was not disclosed in the FY2024 annual and sustainability report.
