Plan, lead, and manage the ‘Marine Expeditions by MareCet’ Programme, including trip coordination, logistics, participant management, content curation, marketing, vendor communication, and post-expedition feedback.
Responsibilities
Plan, oversee, and coordinate the ‘Marine Expeditions by MareCet’ programme
Curate trip content and prepare proposals for interested parties
Coordinate trip logistics and handle participant registrations
Facilitate expeditions
Liaise with interested parties and registered participants
Develop new expeditions to new locations as needed
Manage social media for the programme (content creation and response monitoring)
Communicate with service providers/vendors to ensure smooth expeditions
Develop marketing strategies to acquire new partnerships
Promote the programme to corporate groups and educational institutions
Monitor sales uptake and revenue performance
Collect participants’ feedback post-expedition
Requirements
Malaysian citizen
Degree in Tourism Management / Hospitality / Event Management / Education / Mass Communication / Natural Sciences / other related fields
Minimum 2 years working experience, preferably with outdoor adventure programmes
Good oral and written communication in English and Bahasa Melayu
Proficiency in Mandarin or other languages (advantageous but not required)
Organised, detail-oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Interested in wildlife and environmental conservation
Loves exploration and adventure
Enjoys interacting with adults and children
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors, including on boats/at sea
Has a driver’s license and able to travel for work regularly
Comfortable working certain weekends and public holidays (replacement leave provided)
Some graphic design skills (for promotional materials)
