Tuyang Launches Online Kayan Language Class To Preserve Indigenous Knowledge

The Tuyang & Heart Initiative has launched its first-ever Tuyang Language Class – Kayan, offering participants the opportunity to learn the conversational and practical Kayan language, specifically within the Tubau Kayan context of Sarawak.

Led by instructor Adrian Jo Milang, the online program includes 13 weekly sessions held every Saturday, with time slots available at 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

The classes are conducted online and cost RM50 per session, with guides provided to support learning. This initiative aims to promote Indigenous language preservation through accessible, structured teaching.
