It’s easy for us to fall into the trap of neglecting our own needs while attending to somebody else’s. For the many individuals who have dedicated their lives to fulfill this particular role within their respective communities, this rings especially true.
Thus, in conjunction with 𝘞𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘔𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘋𝘢𝘺, we will be co-hosting a forum together with NGOhub and International Medical University (IMU) titled “Caring From the Inside Out”, which aims to address the many concerns faced by those working in helping professions while also encouraging the participants to look inwards and proactively work towards improving their own well-being by highlighting the significance of practicing self-care.
