The Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) is a not-for-profit, international membership organisation that is working to transform markets to make sustainable palm oil the norm. To do this, we have united stakeholders from all sectors of the palm oil supply chain and civil society to develop and implement global standards for sustainable palm oil production and procurement.
Since its inception in 2004, RSPO has enjoyed rapid growth and today has 5,000 members from 101 countries, including oil palm producers, processors, traders, consumer goods manufacturers, retailers, banks, and non-governmental organisations. Thanks to the commitments and actions of these members, nearly 20% of the global supply of palm oil has already been certified as sustainable.
At RSPO, we believe that a not-for-profit organisation is made successful by the passion, skills, and expertise of its members and staff. They are the ones who drive our organisation to new heights and guide us through the next phase of our development.
As part of the Marketing and Communications Unit, the Graphic Design - Senior Executive will be responsible for coordinating the design of RSPO related visual assets and communications material, and for maintaining RSPO’s brand identity (and look and feel). The job will involve conceptualising and creating design solutions to meet the needs of the organisation, ensuring designs have a high visual impact that are recognisable as RSPO assets, as well as amending and adapting existing RSPO materials.
The location of this role is Malaysia.
Duties include but will not be limited to the following:
Liaise with internal stakeholders to determine their requirements and budget, and assist with conceptualising/ideation, in line with the Marketing and Communications’ Standard Operating Procedures.
Create, develop and execute designs for online/digital platforms, print materials and audio visual content, often simultaneously.
Line manage Graphic Designer Executive, and closely collaborate with Copywriter(s) and other communications colleagues to ensure timelines and objectives are met.
Guide internal projects and campaigns to promote and achieve business objectives.
Monitor use of RSPO design and visual content by internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the RSPO Brand Guidelines are followed consistently.
Continue to develop the RSPO Brand Identity and content bank in keeping with industry best practice.
Keep abreast of latest design software and skills training for personal and team growth.
Apart from the duties stated above, to perform any duty or duties reasonably assigned.
Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Graphic Design / Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
5 years of experience in designing projects on digital platforms.
Experience managing designers is desirable.
