Epic Communities Sdn Bhd, based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia, is seeking talent with high attention to detail, good project management and communication skills, as a full-time Assistant to Project Manager. Our products & services include design & build consultation, placemaking and project management. Our clientele ranges between GLCs, MNCs or international corporation to non-governmental organisations, to community associations and individuals. Projects span from developing off-grid, modular housing to development of community-centric hubs.
The candidate will be reporting to the Project Manager. The scope requires the candidate to execute, monitor and report on projects from pre-development to post-development stage, meeting the approved standard of quality and budgeted cost.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions
Scheduling & Organisation
Assist & manage in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conference calls.
Attend meetings with Project Manager when required and prepare minutes/reports of these meetings. To ensure follow-up arising from these meetings is carried out in consultation with the Project Manager.
Conduct research and prepare materials, presentations and reports as directedAssistance in Project Coordination
Support Project Manager on overseeing project progress, including updating project management documentation such as timelines, budget sheets, payment plans, etc.
Identify and initiate actions to prevent project delays, miscommunication or other identified risks to the completion of the project.
Coordinate with consultants and monitor contractors/suppliers to ensure project schedule and resources are managed efficiently and within the timeframe.
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Demonstrated project management skills.
Strong organisation skills, ability to multitask, with attention to detail.
Good understanding of budgets, spending projections, and project financial management.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships including project partners, internal and external teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and it is an advantage to communicate in Bahasa Melayu.
Proficiency in digital and Google Business Suite tools (Slides, Doc, Sheet, Meet), Slack, Zoom.
Self-motivated, result oriented with good interpersonal skill and leadership skills.
Able to work independently, well-organised and capable of meeting deadlines and proactively following-up.
Proficiency in design tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD is an advantage.
Experience
Ideally 3 years of working experience in Business Management, or Project Management, or a related field.
Experience in construction, architecture, design, urban planning, placemaking, sustainability and/or property development is an advantage.
Experience with coordinating stakeholders across multiple corporate pillars is an advantage.
Experience in managing stakeholders from GLCs, MNCs or international corporations is an advantage.
