PEMIMPIN GSL is an organisation that provides high quality, evidence-based leadership training for teachers and school leaders from government schools in Malaysia. We believe that excellent schools begin with excellent leaders and we strive to provide strong leadership development training to help educators improve their lessons, build their leadership skills and improve educational outcomes for all students.
PEMIMPIN GSL conducts four main programmes specifically designed to meet the needs of school leaders, middle leaders and teacher leaders. Since 2017, we have worked and are working with 1,844 schools from all over Malaysia and 3,267 teachers. PEMIMPIN GSL is a team of 14 individuals from diverse backgrounds and is currently looking for like-minded team members to help us realise our mission of high quality leadership training for schools all over Malaysia. Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Programmes:
Assist the programme team in delivering PEMIMPIN GSL’s leadership programmes in Malaysia by:
co-facilitating workshops to school leaders
co-facilitating Professional Learning Communities (PLC) with school leaders
managing zoom sessions
co-conducting energizers and brain breaks
Measurement and Evaluation:
Assist the Measurement and Evaluation team in:
implementing surveys and data analysis tools
producing impact reports which are catered to both internal and external stakeholders
Marketing and Communications:
Assist the social media team in:
co-managing the company’s social media platform to ensure that the company’s brand is well represented
creating posters, videos and promotional content for programmes
executing social media plans
Requirements
Required Competencies
Passion for PEMIMPIN GSL’s mission and the movement, with a desire to operate within PEMIMPIN GSL’s vision and values
Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in writing (Bahasa Melayu & English)
Capable of completing tasks punctually
Work collaboratively in a team environment and is adaptable to working efficiently in a fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment
Creative and critical in proposing strategies and solutions for the betterment of programmes
Adequately proficient in MS Office and G Suite platforms
Who should consider this role
University or College students who are able to intern full time for a minimum of 2 months
Individuals with experience in coaching/ mentoring and facilitating training sessions would be an added advantage
Individuals with experience in reporting, analytics and research would be an added advantage
Individuals with experience in content creation and social media management would be an added advantage
Individuals with experience in non-profit organizations or social sectors would be an added advantage
