More Than 57,000 Trees Planted Across 11 States

A significant milestone unlocked: more than 57,000 trees planted across 11 states in Malaysia under the Tree Planting Programme in support of PETRONAS Walk4Trees Challenge.

To commemorate the achievement, Yayasan PETRONAS and Global Environment Centre hosted a tree planting event last Saturday (13 August) attended by almost 150 participants from PETRONAS, Yayasan PETRONAS, Selangor State Forestry Department, Sahabat Hutan Gambut Selangor Utara and GEC staff.

Three-hundred trees were planted during the event, organised at Raja Musa Forest Reserve in Bestari Jaya, Selangor – one of the 14 planting sites nationwide.
